Are my benefits approved?

Step 1 —
Go to the Frances Online Claimant Portal and log in.
There are two ways to get there:

  1. Go to frances.oregon.gov and go to the Employees and Claimants panel to select the “Log on to Frances Online” link

  2. Go directly to frances.oregon.gov/claimant

Step 2 —
On your Home screen, find the Current Paid Leave Oregon Benefits panel.

Step 3 —
Under Benefit Details, you will see the status of your claim.

Look for a green status message that says:

  • Claim Application Complete
  • We reviewed your application and made a decision on your benefits.

Quick tip: Any other status message that begins with Claim Application Complete means that we are still reviewing your application. The application review process takes an average of 25 days.

Step 4 —
Our decision about your benefits will be in your Paid Leave Benefits Decision letter. You may have more than one, as well as other letters with more information. You must read all your letters to learn if we have approved your benefits.

To read your letters, from your Home screen, select the “I Want To…” tab.

Step 5 —
Find the Letters panel.

Step 6 —
Select the “View Letters” link.

Step 7 —
When the Letters screen opens, you will see all the letters we have sent you.

Step 8 —
Select the “Paid Leave Benefits Decision” link to open the letter.

This will open the letter. It will have our decision about your leave, as well as information about what to do next. It will tell you how to appeal our decision if you think it is wrong.

You may have other letters related to our decision about your benefits. Please read all the letters we send to you.  We may send you other letters that tell you about changes to your benefits.

IMPORTANT: Check Frances Online and your U.S. mail for letters that may have tasks for you. These letters may affect your benefits, even after you’re finished receiving Paid Leave benefits.
